Graduated from Northside High School in 2010. Played softball at Georgia Southern university 2010-2014. Awards and accolades include 2014 SoCon Pitcher of the Year 2014 First Team All-SoCon 2014 NFCA All-Region 2014 SoCon All-Tournament Team 2014 SoCon Preseason Pitcher of the Year 2013 SoCon Pitcher of the Year 2013 First Team All-SoCon 2013 NFCA All-Region 2013 SoCon All-Tournament Team 2013 SoCon Preseason Pitcher of the Year 2012 SoCon Pitcher of the Year 2012 First Team All-SoCon 2012 NFCA All-Region 2012 SoCon Tournament Most Outstanding Player 2012 SoCon All-Tournament Team. Coach Purvis played professional softball for the Dallas Charge in 2015 as well as overseas in Italy for team Bussolengo in 2015. She has been coaching at HOCO for 7 years. She is married, has a beautiful baby girl and 2 amazing dogs
